A Prophet Profile

par Theodore Andoseh

What does it take to become a person God can use? The prophet Isaiah is remembered for his visions. Still, his life was full of the ordinary and the costly: a marriage lived under God’s direction, children who became signs in Israel, prayers that changed the course of events, advice that kings sought in a crisis, an obedience that cost him his dignity, and disciples he formed with his testimony and his teaching. In this book, Theodore Andoseh opens Isaiah's life in ten chapters and asks two questions: In what ways was he a prophet, and how did he become one? The answer begins with one encounter with the holy God and continues in a school where the Teacher wakens His student morning by morning. Whether you are young or old, beginning or well on the way, you will find here a pattern to follow, Scriptures to read, and a prayer for every chapter.
