The Story of His Life of Seeking God

par Zacharias T. Fomum

In this critical book, Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum delves into the story of his life of seeking God. He repeatedly tells us how God commanded him to seek Him specifically. He was to use the authority and the name that are ours in Christ to be set free from 13 distinctive things that bind, blind, and demobilise. He was to use the blood of the Lamb, the word of his testimony, and the name of Jesus Christ to put on 16 different indispensable elements. In the book's first part, the author deals with the negative points of seeking God as they have been experienced in his life. He describes in detail his efforts to experience freedom from all sin, freedom from all love of self, freedom from the love of the world, freedom from the love of everything that is in the world, and freedom from all falsehood. Journey with the author and experience freedom from sexual immorality, freedom from all love of gain, freedom from a divided heart, freedom from self-centredness, freedom from debts, and freedom from greed. Be steadfast with the author and you will know freedom from laziness and freedom from goallessness. In the second part, the author addresses the positive points. They are: being a disciple of the Lord Jesus, praying alone, daily dynamic encounters with God, reading the Bible, reading Christian literature, retreats for spiritual progress, praying with others, giving to God, and fasting. He continues with his life of soul-winning, making disciples for Christ, accountability, and being a faithful member of a local church. He concludes with serving the Lord in the domain of His call on one's life, living in the centre of God's will, and doing everything for the exclusive glory of the Lord Jesus. What was given to the author personally as tools for seeking God was finally given to the whole Fellowship (CMFI) on 21 December 2008 in what is now famously known as the Bertoua Message . Seeking God through the Bertoua Message has become the way to revival, restoration, and revolution for all in our ministry and beyond. May the Lord use the author's life of seeking God to carry you into the inner recesses of seeking, finding, knowing, and enjoying God
