Death is a hard reality. I have seen people die. My father, Pastor Solomon Fomum Tanee, died in my presence at 62. Miss Mary Namatovu, a postgraduate student in Biology at Makerere University, also died. My closest friends, Lambert Eteng Egot and Martin Njoya Emmanuel, both died in their early twenties. Presidents die. For example, where is the great Nkrumah of Africa? He, too, kicked the bucket. Two days ago, a young boy died at Tsinga in Yaounde. He was aged 14.
