Let Our Praises Rise!

par Theodore Andoseh

Praise is not entertainment. It is not a warm-up before the sermon or a stage for talent. According to the Scriptures, praise is work—work that pleases the heart of God and that He uses to accomplish His purposes. In Let Our Praises Rise! , Pastor Theodore Andoseh gathers seven years of teaching given at the World University of Prayer and Fasting of Christian Missionary Fellowship International (2016–2023). With the Bible open and King David as the model, he shows: what true praise is—the expression of a heart touched by the revelation of God, and not flattery; how a minister of praise grows, from the response of thanksgiving to the overflow of the Spirit and on to ministry; how praise brings God to the people, makes a way for His intervention and builds a throne on which He sits; how a whole community becomes a community of praise through its festivals, memorials and songs. Searching, practical and deeply biblical, this book is for every believer, singer, musician, choir leader and pastor who longs to see God honoured—and at work—through the praises of His people.
